Hey there!

Ok, so it' been over 6 months since I stopped in.

Yikes.

So let's get updated here.

Here's the family! Little Berk is now 7 months old, trying to pull herself up, loves standing (with help), loves "chasing" the dogs, and she makes us smile constantly. Talk about being in love!

And here's Annie and her Michael. Michael leaves on his LDS Mission in October, he's going to the Belgium Brussells/Northern France Mission!

We'll all be waiting with open arms when he gets back in 2011!

I decided that SUMMER 2009 would be a summer of crafts, and after whipping up some nice crocheted blankets, I decided to get online and figure out how to fix my sewing machines. They've been out of whack for years. I am happy to report I got one running pretty well, and now I can't stop sewing - - quilting mainly. I've made about 6 quilt tops this summer, and started the machine quilting on one. Here are a few pics:

And now I am once again TOTALLY obsessed with cutting up fabric and sewing it back together. It's been way too long, and I've missed it.

OK. That's my quick post for the day. I can finally check "UPDATE BLOG" from my list. :)

JEFFREY ERIC DAHLIN - 22nd birthday!

It's our Jeffrey's birthday today, the big 22. Holy smokes. I want everyone to know what a sweet, gentle, loving guy he is, and I am so completely thankful for him! I am so happy I get to be his mom.

Know what? Being a grandma is INCREDIBLE! The second you see your grandchild, you are in love, giddy with joy, and committed to them for life. I will do anything for this little girl!

Other than a little bit of jaundice, she's doing perfectly! She's got a bilirubin light that she'll keep on her back for a couple of days.

Our beautiful Grand-daughter!!

I am thrilled to present BERKLEY McKAY DAHLIN -our first grandchild! She is so incredibly sweet and calm, and absolutely gorgeous!

We have all fallen in love (it happenend instantly!)

Matt and Val are already just the sweetest parents - it's awesome to see Matt so smitten with his little princess!

A New Year, A New Blog!

After having HEAPS of trouble with my old blog (located at http://ddahlin.wordpress.com/), I've decided it's time to try again. I haven't blogged since our Tahoe trip in July! ACK!

Here's my short and simple list of personal goals for this new year.

1. Blog often.

2. Lose the weight (I know I can do it!)

3. Design templates and complete and create some albums - (simple, clean, white background, focusing on photos) - and actually get them PRINTED!!!

4. Show off my new grandbaby who will be here in a matter of weeks! Baby Dahlin is due January 22nd! Eeeeeee!

I am so excited to begin this new phase as GRANDPARENT! I have so much love and adoration for this new little love that is coming into our lives! Get ready to see LOTS of photos of her!

5. Take even MORE photos. I have a fabulous new camera and telephoto lens that ROCK!

I've started two albums this year that focus on the photos - one is my for my daughter, and the other is for our family.
